Simply, this is about going out and meeting people, which fills your time up and hopefully have some fun. It gives you some time to look outward and not inward.

Join a club - if you can combine that with exercise, then so much the better.

Some ideas include:-

Cycling, walking, swimming, dancing, yoga, golf.
